Homebase launch iPhone app to make shopping experience even better

The DIY retailer has today launched an app after their research over has shown a dramatic increase in customers utilising mobile and web based resources prior to making purchases.

The Apple Homebase app has over 30,000 all now accessible from Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch devices and customers can use the app to check stock and reserve 20,000 products for in-store collection in all 330 UK Homebase stores. Online Homebase product stock enquiries have increased 30% since October 2009.

The app will allow you to see and check;

  • Store opening times
  • Customer product reviews

With customer reviews an increasing factor in driving online customer engagement, Homebase has added an additional feature for its app which allows users to organise search results by customer review score.
