We now have over 1000 stores worldwide, in the UK and Republic of Ireland, Europe, the Middle East, Singapore, Russia and Poland. Last year alone 355 million customers visited New Look either online or in one of our stores..

Our brand is about delivering fashion excitement, newness and value. So we translate the latest trends from the catwalk, celebrities and the streets as fast as we can, providing our customers with fashion that is bang on trend - and great value to boot. We regularly win awards for our clothing and footwear and remain the number 1 retailer by volume for denim and dresses. New Look isn't just for the girls either - we are gaining market share in menswear. Our online business also continues to grow, with customers visiting New Look whenever and wherever it suits them - making us one of the most visited fashion websites in the UK.

Mim

Mim is one of the top ten fashion retailers in France. It has been trading for 30 years and has over 300 stores dotted throughout France and Belgium, although these days customers can also enjoy shopping 24/7 at http://www.mim.fr/.

It's a brand that lives in the moment and believes in fashion for all. Consequently it appeals to many different women, 60 million of whom visited Mim last year alone.

As an independent subsidiary Mim is its own business, with its head office in Paris and a team of 1800. But with its vast range of fashionable products at incredible prices it shares the same spirit and lives and breathes the same values as New Look.

Ethical Trading Vision

Our vision is to bring about real and sustainable change in factory conditions. We're committed to improving workers' lives and livelihoods by working closely with suppliers to jointly understand and resolve workplace issues.

New Look has been a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative since 2003 and since then we have increased our investment and activity in response to increased interest from our customers.

Organic / Eco Clothing
We launched our Organic Cotton range in Summer 2007 to reduce the environmental impact of our products. Organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides and is therefore better for the environment, and the cotton farmers themselves.

Recycling & Waste
We recognise that we have a responsibility to our planet to reduce the impact from the packaging of our products. We've introduced a number of initiatives to reduce the amount of packaging we use, while recycling the necessary waste effectively.

Energy
We've put a number of practices in place to reduce energy across the business. Whether this simply means having timer switches in our stores to minimise the cost of lighting; or more eco-friendly ways of transporting goods (via rail rather than the traditional road method for example). Step by step we're coming up with lots of ways to reduce our Carbon Footprint.

Charity
We've raised an incredible £170,000 for baby charity Tommy's by selling T-shirts and teddy bears, and encouraging our people to get involved in fundraising events. These included a sponsored cycle ride to France by some very committed company directors. And yes, they wore the lycra look very well.

Head Office

 Our Head Office in Weymouth houses all the functions that are critical to the New Look operation. These include HR, IT, Corporate & Social Responsibility, Finance, Property, Marketing and Operations. Our Buying & Merchandising teams are also based in Weymouth, although most of the time they're scouring the globe to find the products our customers want at a price that's right.

The Weymouth HQ is a bright, fast-paced, exciting and constantly changing environment to work in. We're also undertaking planning for construction of a brand new Head Office just down the road from the current site.

And with our coastal location, we can ensure it's not just your career that continues to flourish. We place huge emphasis on achieving a healthy work-life balance that respects your needs and commitments away from work.

New Look international

Further afield, we've signed a contract with the Landmark Group to open 40 stores in Dubai, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia over the next five years. At a whopping 15,000 square feet each, these stores will bring our fabulous fashion to a wider global audience.

Of course we're not stopping here and we plan to move into even more countries over the next few years. It's all part of the New Look story - one we'd like you to be a part of.

Training & Development

 Whether they work in one of our stores, head office or our distribution centre, we're never happier than when one of our people gets promoted and takes their career to the next level. That's why we have a development support in place to suit each individual.
