THE ROLE

This role is to effectively manage the shop floor operations to meet customer service and sales targets through accurate and efficient management of support departments.  As the Deputy Manager you would effectively lead the store support operation to meet targets and a high level of service through efficient management of sales areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maximise stock availability throughout the store
  • Supporting the General Store Manager to maximise store performance through the effective management of both people and process
  • Support service teams to drive delivery of the KPI's
  • Regularly communicate with team through meetings and ensure that all the team are up to date on training and company procedures/policies
  • Develop selling and commission culture in order to increase profitable sales
  • Acting GSM as and when required
  • Work within company guidelines to minimise shrinkage
  • Ensure that all layout changes and range reviews are implemented
  • Create links to the local community to identify and optimise sales opportunities
  • Ensure optimum colleague deployment across all areas of the business
  • Continually drive a high level of product knowledge
  • Deliver consistently great customer service standards through living the company values and acting on customer feedback
