ASSISTANT MANAGER

This leading food retailer is one of the biggest names in not only the UK but Worldwide; and is currently looking for dynamic and passionate potential Store Mangers of the future. Having posted solid financial results year in year they are in a great place given the current climate to go from strength to strength.  

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Experience of Retail Management, in food retail, would be an advantage, although any retail or leisure management background will be considered. The main requirement is an energetic and enthusiastic personality and the ability to motivate your team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the business forward to meet and exceed store and company targets
  • To ensure the brand is protected at all times by ensuring 100% compliance with company policy
  • Deliver excellent customer service using the methods available i.e. Fast Friendly, Available, Clean
  • To maximise product availability, optimising stock management and replenishment process
  • Maintaining book stock accuracy using pre-defined processes
  • To assist the Store Manager as required in utilising all Management Information available to enhance the stores performance particularly, cash loss, dry stock loss and waste
  • To assist with the training and coaching for all new and existing store staff as identified in the Personal Development Plan
  • To manage Employee Relations issues in the team in the absence of the Store Manager
  • To complete all store administration as required
  • Implementation & execution of in-store promotions
  • To maximize the financial performance and sales of the store
  • To lead and develop the store team to deliver customer and operational excellence
  • To implement as required, all Company initiatives at store level
  • Complete store availability and stock integrity
  • Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
