Each member of the McCarthy team is integral to the success and development of the company – and equally, McCarthy plays a vital role in the success and development of each career, no matter how senior or junior.

I'm Senior Managing Consultant and in the year that I've been with McCarthy Recruitment, I've already learnt so much from Kate and the team here. The McCarthy way of recruitment is very different to any other that I'm aware of and it's really opened my eyes to a better way of working.

I come from a Fashion Retail Management background and was already working in recruitment when McCarthy first launched. I thought the concept and values were unique. It was like a breath of fresh air in so many ways.

The way Kate gets results and focuses on taking the business forward is a real inspiration to me. McCarthy is an independent business with big business attitude and that’s appealing to me.

The existing team and the new members have worked really hard to blend with one another and share best working practises, and I’m really proud of the team environment we have created together. Personally, I've been heavily involved in the re-design of this website, so I'm hoping that’s going to be a big success with candidates and clients.

I think that McCarthy has given me a great career path, and managed to both challenge and reward me in ways I was never expecting.

Kate entrusted me with a key account, a team of my own to manage and provided me with a bag-full of support and guidance to help me succeed. What has most impressed me about McCarthy is our adaptability to change, and having the opportunity to shape the future alongside everybody who works within the business.

The future is very exciting, I’ve just started a new role and am now the Learning and Development Manager within the business. I have a passion for developing people, whether it be skills training or coaching team leaders on how to get the best out of their people. I’m now working on a number of exciting projects and hope to bring even more focus to the people processes in the near future. The opportunities here are endless and working for

I have been with McCarthy Recruitment for almost 2 years and before joining I was already working within retail recruitment and had heard great things about the business. I was particularly impressed by the company values and vision and after meeting Kate I was totally bought into her as an individual and felt excited about where the company was going.

Since joining, I have been on a journey of personal development and growth and feel that I am really able to contribute to the business and help shape its future. Since joining McCarthy in early 2005 I have been very lucky to have been a part of it's growth and success. Kate McCarthy has always been clear about our vision and our values as a business, making our commitment to both client and candidate satisfaction truly unique in our industry. I am extremely proud to work for McCarthy Recruitment and am very thankful to Kate for her ongoing support to me and the rest of her team, and for allowing us all to share in her drive and passion for our business. Since having my Daughter last year and relocating to Cornwall, I have continued to work for McCarthy as a Remote Senior Consultant which has worked really well for both myself and our business. I still make regular trips to the Manchester office or out to see a client which keeps me in touch with the outside world. People always say I am really lucky to be working from home but I love my days in the office as our team culture is second to none and it feels a great privilege to be a part of that.

I have worked for McCarthy Recruitment since we launched and I feel proud to have been part of its development. Kate started the business to offer a more superior and personal service within retail recruitment, which she has certainly achieved.
